Important Rental, Transportation & Safety Requirements

PLEASE READ BEFORE RESERVING: The Fantek XTF-T103D lifting towers are professional rigging equipment and require proper transportation, handling, and operation.

Transportation Requirements

• These lifting towers must remain upright during transportation. They cannot be laid on their sides.
• An appropriately sized enclosed trailer, high-roof cargo van, or box truck is required.
• A suitable loading ramp or liftgate is required for safe loading and unloading.
• Towers must be properly secured to prevent movement, tipping, or damage during transportation.
• Standard passenger vehicles, SUVs, and pickup arrangements that require laying the towers horizontally are not permitted.

Operating & Cable Protection

• Rental is intended for experienced operators familiar with professional lifting towers.
• All manufacturer operating instructions and safety procedures must be followed.
• Special care must be taken to protect the lifting cables, pulleys, winch, and locking mechanisms.
• Never allow lifting cables to become loose, twisted, pinched, improperly routed, or damaged.
• Do not force the winch or operate a tower if resistance or abnormal operation occurs.
• Towers must be properly stabilized, leveled, and operated within manufacturer load limits.

Equipment Damage & Responsibility

Improper transportation, handling, or operation can result in significant equipment damage and costly repairs.

The renter is responsible for damage resulting from misuse, negligence, improper transportation, or failure to follow operating procedures, in accordance with the rental agreement.

Safety & Operating Requirements

Truss lifting systems must be configured and operated by qualified personnel following manufacturer instructions and applicable rigging requirements.

• Do not exceed the rated capacity of either tower
• Verify the total truss system load and load distribution
• Use only compatible, properly secured adapters
• Deploy all stabilizers and leveling feet correctly
• Operate towers on suitable stable surfaces
• Coordinate lifting and lowering between both towers
• Observe all wind and weather restrictions
• Do not lift personnel or allow anyone beneath suspended loads

Important: The rated capacity of each tower does not automatically establish the allowable capacity of a complete two-tower truss system. Truss span, loading, connections, and support conditions must be evaluated separately.
